I was quite hesitant on buying this razor because I was afraid of cutting myself. Though, the box and the videos provided filled me with the confidence to buy it. After my first use of course I did cut myself, but I learned to be patient and go slow. Overall I enjoy the product, I have no razor bumps. Typically I have the worst razor burn, but not with this razor! 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Since I’m such a geek for cute packaging, I was super excited to received my rose gold razor in the mail. I've been excited to make the switch for awhile, but wanted to finish up my current plastic razors. I tried it out for the 1st time today and was really happy with the results! And I'm still blown away with how gorgeous the rose gold razor is! There's definitely a learning curve with using a safety razor, but that happens with when you start anything new and I was already much better on my 2nd leg. I love that the razor will last a long time, and you can recycle the blades. It's great that there are so many great resources available on social media for beginners! It’s one of my best life changing decisions! I decided to give Lisse a try because I’m all for saving landfill, less carbon print, and nontoxic healthy self care habits too! After just one shaving treatment, I was a bit nervous because of the sharp razor blade. After following instructions, it was easier than I thought and felt like a Goddess! My legs are much smoother and less irritated with none of that aftershave bumps! Love the rose gold shaver especially with a nice substantial weight on top of delicious smelling shaving oil to boot! Great product! As many other reviews will tell you, there is a learning curve when it comes to using this razor. Start with slow, short strokes. When I first used the razor, I reattached the head the wrong way and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. Pay attention to the photos to make sure you're re-attaching it correctly! Once I had it configured the right way, I got a nice, close shave and was smooth for a couple of days. I'm seriously happy with this product and I'm never going back to plastic razors! Buy the citrus oil as well! It smells heavenly!!

I received my Lisse razor and shave oil! OMG, it’s so pretty! I was a bit nervous to try a safety razor, but it’s so simple! I also bought the Sweet Citrus shave oil and my legs have never been this smooth! The oil smells so sweet and left my skin feeling refreshed post shave! One of my main reasons of looking into a safety razor was that they are eco-friendly! Yay to not throwing a bunch of plastic into landfills!! I just finished using this for the first time, so much easier than I thought. I was afraid to cut myself but I followed the instructions Lisse sent to me, short strokes, go slow and be gentle. Closest shave of my life and no nicks! I feel so pampered with the lemony fresh citrus shave oil. I love that it is made in Canada. I've been using the shaver for about two weeks, now, and just love it. It feels absolutely right in my hand; it is quite easy to control. The results are wonderful -- and I use the razor on some rather delicate areas.

This razor is so awesome! Wow! I’ve been recommending it to all of my girlfriends. I can notice a difference in my shave. It takes longer for my hair to grow back, it doesn’t hurt to use, and my hair doesn’t come back so thick or “prickly”. Definitely a good buy. I wasn't afraid of using it but still practiced caution and didn't cut myself at all and I've used it twice now ALL OVER my body. The only thing I notice is how hair kinda piles up and gets to a point you have to get really in there to continue shaving but that might be me just being extra.

I waited so long after my purchase to write this review, so here I go! I normally take cold showers, but for this product (knowing normal people take warm/hot showers) I also took a hot shower. Packaging was simple and cute, but best of all completely recyclable! No plastic wrapper to be seen in sight, even in the shipping label box. Big plus! Now, when purchasing this product, my rockwell razor had broken through 3 years of working hard to keep my skin smooth. It was my first safety razor, and although it was great...I wanted something better. That's when I came to Lizze's Safety Razor! Beginner tips were everywhere - even in the product's information bio - and I was seeing everyone else's great reviews. So, after some thought, I took a chance and spent my $80 to get a new safety razor and sweet citrus oil. When it came in, to give this thing a fair try I took both a cold AND hot shower. I usually take cold, but I know most people take hot. I noticed that it was easier to clean the razor in the hot shower, and the oil seeped into my skin a lot easier compared to a cold shower. The oil still did it's job during both showers - protecting my skin from razor burns. It also gave my skin a bit more color while also making it softer/smoother. It's usually pale and cracked before I put lotion on. When I had my rockwell razor, I would get cuts over my scars. It's kind of hard to shave around them, but it annoys me having tiny patches of hairs on my legs when the rest of it is smooth. So, I sucked it up and just shaved over my scars anyways. With Lisse's Safety Razor, I was actually pretty amazed! I was still careful in shaving around my scars, but I didn't receive one. single. cut. What?! So I went a little crazy and shaved a little LESS carefully around my scars. Nothing! Not a scratch! That BLOWS MY MIND that I can just relax when shaving and not have to stress about cutting my scars. Lisse's Safety Razor has made me raise the bar on how I want my safety razor to be built. It's legitimately amazing and I'm so glad I took the leap to buy it. I expect this to last a lot longer than my Rockwell Razor, and even if it doesn't - I can't see myself buying another razor from someone else. Lisse is providing a product that you don't have to "settle" for. It's a product that'll make shaving just a little easier, and life just a little better. Thanks for blowing my mind Lisse! Couldn't ask for a better razor!

Using a safety razor is so much easier than I thought! I love how heavy this is, I don't feel I need to apply much pressure is order to shave. My skin has always reacted very negatively to shaving, I always end up with rashes. It's been so bad where I can't shave my underarms regularly or else I won't be able to put my arms down for a while after I shower. I have not had this problem at all since using this razor! I don't get rashes from shaving anymore! This is such a lovely surprise, trying to be more eco friendly has paid off in more ways than I had thought!

I love the way the razor looked when I first got it, and agree with other reviewers that the shave is closer than other razors I’ve used in the past. I also love that it reduces plastic in my daily routine and overall waste. However, I was disappointed that after only a few uses, the bottom piece of the razor head began to show discoloration that has only been getting worse with time. I use it as directed, and don’t leave the razor in the shower ever (I clean it in the sink and then keep it in a dry place). A big reason why I chose this razor over competitors was because how cute the rose gold was, so that’s kind of a bummer. Also love how close the shave is, and have been successful in armpit shaving, but have yet to successfully shave my legs without nicking them. I use the oil and go very slowly, and still every time around my knees I get a cut or two that bleed and burn for a few days.

Initially I bought this razor to cut our waste, since I find I use the most disposable things in the bathroom. I didn’t really think much about the actual shave but I must say it is a much closer and better shave than disposables!
