This is a wonderful safety razor! It was a learning curve to get used to it but now that I’ve shaved with it several times, I’ve come to really appreciate its design. The sturdy weight and shorter handle gives me more control when I shave my legs and the beautiful rose gold colour is an added bonus. Yeah, it's really great, honestly. It feels good in your hands and glides well, really makes things smooth. You can definitely nick yourself on the drier areas of your skin if you're not careful. Like your knees or ankles (hope I'm not the only one with dry ones...). Super happy to have a solid replacement to disposables. My heart just felt gross using those and I 100% used them longer than I should to avoid be wasteful. So yeah, you should totally buy one if you're reading this comment.

I will never go back to using a plastic razer. I notice I get a nice clean shave using this razor. I've noticed it is easier to keep clean with getting all the hair that might get stuck in it compared to plastic razors where you can't take it apart to clean it. I highly recommend this razor.

I’d love it if you came up with a way of how to dispose of the blades after instead of wrapping it in tape id love it if you could provide a way to dispose of them ! I am SO happy I got this razor!! I don’t shave my legs very often, same with armpits but when I do, I have always used disposable razors. I will literally keep them forever and keep using these full razors because I don’t want to throw out the heads due to waste. But the up front cost of a reusable/safety razor felt like so much!!! Let’s be real though- it’s nothing when you think of how much disposable razors/heads cost over the course of a year. So I purchased this beautiful rose gold razor and I am SO happy I did. Easily assembled, shaving went GREAT- I cut myself in the teeeeeeeniest place around my knee, but honestly it was better than what I have been known to do. I highly recommend this razor. Also, from ordering to delivery, it got to me in just a few days. So impressed!

I waited for my disposable razor to die before finally switching and it’s been so good, the safety razor shaves soo close I’ve never been so smooth and no razor bumps or itchy regrowth AND my hair grows back slower bc of how much closer the shave is so I genuinely wait in excitement for my next shave bc the process is such a ritual for me now. My learning curve only took one use where I took an hour to shave every inch of my body - armpits are actually the most difficult bc they are concave vs. The V. The razor weight is like a bit less than an iPhone so holding it lightly at the handle and letting it sit it’s weight is all the pressure I needed and not a single cut.

First time using a safety razor, i have to say that it took a few tries before I was really comfortable, but the results really speak for themselves. the shave i get is SO close, i stay smooth much longer than with a disposable razor. seriously was not expecting it, I didn't shave much before because it would take so much time and then everything would be prickly again the next day. now I can wait a whole weekish before wanting to shave, i say wanting because at that point, i'm still pretty smooth! also i have not had any trouble with razor burn. i used to be extremely sensitive to it, but have had NO issues whatsoever. I was under the assumption that I was getting razor burn because of a lack of patience/lather, but using just one blade fixed it all! the actual razor itself is gorgeous. it feels nice to use, and with how pretty it is, i want to take care of it and actually take my time shaving. i suggest if you have a lot of hair to maybe trim it to a shorter length first, i went through my first blade relatively quickly because i neglected to trim my thick hair. it really makes a difference. only thing i can say that is taking me longer to get used to is the handle of the razor, it's textured so it's easy to grip, but the straightness of the actual handle makes it difficult sometimes to maneuver in my hands. maybe having some kind of curve to it would make it easier to slot between the fingers, but as it is, the aesthetic is beautiful and the handle is not a dealbreaker. really want to try the oil and shaving soap next! happy to support a local company!

I LOVE this razor. I'm so happy to have a reusable razor that creates less waste. I used to really struggle with razor burn with disposable razors, but this is not a problem at all anymore. If you are scared, or intimidated by using a safety razor, don't be! You'll get used to it so fast and after a few shaves it feels like a normal razor, but better!!

After my first use of course I did cut myself, but I learned to be patient and go slow. Overall I enjoy the product, I have no razor bumps. Great product! As many other reviews will tell you, there is a learning curve when it comes to using this razor. Start with slow, short strokes. When I first used the razor, I reattached the head the wrong way and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. Pay attention to the photos to make sure you're re-attaching it correctly! Once I had it configured the right way, I got a nice, close shave and was smooth for a couple of days. I'm seriously happy with this product and I'm never going back to plastic razors! Buy the citrus oil as well! It smells heavenly!!

I received my Lisse razor and shave oil! OMG, it’s so pretty! I was a bit nervous to try a safety razor, but it’s so simple! I also bought the Sweet Citrus shave oil and my legs have never been this smooth! The oil smells so sweet and left my skin feeling refreshed post shave! Definitely a good buy. I wasn't afraid of using it but still practiced caution and didn't cut myself at all and I've used it twice now ALL OVER my body. The only thing I notice is how hair kinda piles up and gets to a point you have to get really in there to continue shaving but that might be me just being extra.
